📢 The Signal Behind the Noise
Today's five stories all circle back to the same unresolved tension: capital keeps flowing into AI faster than trust in it is being earned. Nvidia and JPMorgan just proved Wall Street is all in, half a trillion dollars and counting, on the belief that AI infrastructure demand is real and durable. Zuckerberg is betting the same thing, publicly, even while his own numbers tell a shakier story. Meanwhile Sanders is looking at the exact same landscape and seeing a technology racing ahead of anyone's ability to control it, a concern North Korea's own AI-powered hacking operation does nothing to ease. Nobody in today's edition disagrees that AI is genuinely powerful. What they disagree on, sharply, is whether the systems being built around it can actually be trusted to keep pace. That's not a technology question anymore. It's a governance one, and it's still wide open.
